INSIGHT TV Partners with Edge Video AI to Launch AI-Powered Live Shopping in the UK 

Real-Time Shopping Experiences for INTRAVEL Viewers 

(21 October 2024 – AMSTERDAM) Insight TV, the leading unscripted global channel operator and distributor, has been growing its advanced advertising efforts across its linear and FAST channels in coordination with its digital media capabilities, from custom branded promotions to dedicated bumpers to virtual product placement. Now it is taking these efforts one step further in partnership with Edge Video AI and is launching AI-powered live shopping on its INTRAVEL channel in the UK.

The trial with Edge Video AI will allow for AI-powered Live Shopping in the UK, delivering real-time, interactive product engagement directly to viewers and opening up countless touchpoint opportunities. 

Through this partnership, brands will have the opportunity to reach INTRAVEL’s audience using Edge Video AI’s advanced technology. INTRAVEL viewers will be able to shop instantly for products featured in and related to the content they're watching, with items like excursion tickets, tours, hotels, flights, and travel essentials chosen by AI based on the context of the show in real-time.

This innovative approach could be showcased on series like Travel in Style and My Greek Odyssey, viewers might explore luxurious hotels, gourmet dining, or exclusive leisure activities, with the ability to instantly learn more about these experiences or book them directly, or the AI might suggest local excursions, cultural tours, or travel gear, allowing viewers to seamlessly transition from inspiration to action.
