INSIGHT TV Unveils its Spring Slate, which brims with Premium Sports Docs, travel content, automotive and food!

Over 50 hours of high-energy factual content from around the globe, including new international co-productions and returning fan favourites.

(27 March 2025 – Amsterdam) Insight TV, a UHD specialist, channel group and distributor, is celebrating the launch of its Spring New Release slate boasting more than 50 hours of high-energy factual including automotive, food, fishing, travel & adventure ​ and premium sports docs that boast unparalleled access.

Leading the charge in the premium sports space is the rugby doc-series United States of Rugby (6×44’, produced by Goldfinch Entertainment) and Taniwha Unleashed – Inside The Chiefs Rugby Club (3×60’, produced by Butter Media) — the latter providing an unprecedented look into one of New Zealand’s most legendary rugby teams and the cultural blueprint of the All Blacks. These are joined by Insight Original Streetball with Kenny Dobbs (10×22’, produced by Insight TV and Bspoke), bringing an energetic mix of street basketball and culture to audience schedules as real-life version of the game led by legend of the sport Kenny Dobbs, culminating in an electrifying showdown in New York City.

A returning series of TVNZ-commissioned spearfishing epic South Seas Spearo S3 (12×60’, produced by The Hunters Club) accompanies new titles in the fishing genre, including Red’s Fishing Adventures: The Bucket List (10×30’, produced by Black Fox Productions), where pro angler Aaron ‘Red’ Habgood and Kane Reardon chase bucket list species across Australia.

The travel, food and adventure slate continues to expand with Car & Country Quest (6×30’ / 3×60’, produced by Searchlight Productions & Branded Studios), featuring petrolhead friends Deepak Narendran, Freddie Hunt (son of F1 legend James Hunt), and Ashique Thahir on an epic road trip across India and Europe. New travel formats include For Which She Rolls (6×22’, Storyteller), which follows off-road adventurer Jillian Rebekah and her friends on a wild road trip across the American West; and Analogue Drive (3×60’, Storyteller), where radio personality and Black Crowes founder Steve Gorman connects with fellow musicians and storytellers on the open road. Meanwhile, Maximum Foodie S5 returns for a fifth season (8×30’, SD Media) with host Sashi De exploring hidden food cultures, and Magic in Lapland (5×24’, NTRNZ Media) sees award-winning magician Henri Kemppainen blend illusion with nature and Sámi folklore in Finland’s Arctic north.
